Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rose

I’ve been wearing Juicy Couture perfumes for years and years and years. One of my all time favourite perfumes is from Juicy Couture (Juicy Couture Eau De Parfum), so when I heard that they had added another perfume to their collection, I knew I had to have it. Some of you may know that I gravitate towards floral scents, so it was no surprise that the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rose piqued my interest. I wanted to do a quick overview for you today of the latest addition to my perfume collection, just in case you too were on the market for a new scent.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rosé comes housed in a gorgeous glittery ombre bottle. I will be honest with you, I am quite superficial and do tend you lust a product more if the packaging is beautiful. But you don’t understand, this looks so pretty on my perfume shelf. I love the hot pink bow accent and the mini charm, sigh, it’s definitely my kind of perfume bottle. I believe it is inspired by champagne and rose, hence the sparkling finish.

This perfume is a perfect spring/summer addition to the line, It is described as ‘ an irresistible bouquet of honey-like pink blossoms, which pops with fizzy citrus perfection and is kissed by the glow of sensual amber.’ – a rather fancy description! I would describe it as a floral scent, with a fruity element to it which makes this perfume quite fun and alluring. It doesn’t carry a really heavy heady floral scent to it, which is actually a lot more appealing for day time wear as it sits on the skin nicer and isn’t overwhelming when you spritz it. It hasn’t got that heavy powdery quality that some rose perfumes have, which is a definite no no for me. Instead it has the balance just right.

Here are the notes in the perfume:

The scent opens with the fresh fruity notes of Italian Mandarin and William Pear, intertwining with soft, dewy Jasmine Petals. At the heart there is Rose Centifolia next to White Peony and Jasmine Sambac, drying down with decadent Ambrox ,sensual Orris Absolu and warm Benzoin.

I always feel like ‘I knew it’ when I see notes of Jasmine, as more often than not when I like a perfume it usually has Jasmine in it somewhere. I’ve been really enjoying this perfume as of late, I wear it to work every day, and I even had someone comment on it. That’s when you know you’re wearing something nice. I also love seeing this bottle next to my other Juicy Couture perfumes, look how pretty they all look together like a little family!
