Morning! I recently picked up a few products from Escentual so I thought I would share with you all today my little Escentual haul. I always keep an eye out on the Escentual website and their social media as they tend to have some really good offers going on so I like to make sure I don’t miss out on a good deal. A few weeks back they had a 1/3 off French Pharmacy skin care and this just happened to coincide with one of my Bioderma Sensibio Light cream running low so I went over to the site to stock up.
I didn’t go too crazy as I know what I am like with skin care. I stock a lot of products up and then keep using my favourites over and over again meaning the rest of my stash gets neglected. Right now I am going through a process of using cleansing products up as I have amassed way too many cleansers for one person. Bearing this in mind, I had to restrain myself from going overboard so I ended up restricting myself to a £30 budget of which I only went over a tiny little bit. A tiny bit is forgivable in my books.
Firstly I went over to the Bioderma section to pick up my favourite day time moisturiser. I’ve been using the Bioderma Sensibio Light Soothing Cream a lot over the last year as I find it to be the perfect day cream for me as it is light and non-greasy and sits well under my makeup. I spoke about it here. I picked up two tubes as I do use it daily so I go through it quicker than any other moisturiser. I picked it up for £9.66 when it is usually £14.50. You can find it here.
Next I picked the Bioderma Sensibio Eye Contour Gel as I was started to run a little low on mine. Again I spoke about this product here. I find with this a little does go a long way and it has lasted me really well even though it is only 15ml. I picked this up for £9.46, it usually retails for £14.20. You can find it here.
Finally I got my hands on my very first Nuxe product. I have heard great things about Nuxe but as I have way too much skincare in my collection, I haven’t really branched out to trialling any products from the range. I had heard great things about the Nuxe Reve de Miel so when I saw it on the Escentual in limited edition packaging I knew I had to pick it up. It is more on the pricier side for lip balms, retailing for £9.50, however when I picked it up it was a more affordable price of £6.33. So far I have only used this a couple of times but so far I find it really moisturising, non greasy yet I can still feel it on my lips hours later. I have high hopes for this product and hopefully will share my thoughts with you all on it soon. You can pick it up here.
I still am keeping my eye on the Escentual website, but I think this will keep my splurging habit in check for a few more weeks! Overall I ended up spending £35.11 which is pretty good I think. I think I’ve picked up enough skin care bits to satisfy that craving but I am on the lookout for a good exfoliator. I have my eyes on the Clarins Gentle Refining Exfoliation Cream and the Pixi Glow Tonic also perks my interest. What is on your skincare wish list? I hope you liked a little peek in my shopping bag, speak soon! Tanzina x
