Date Ready Makeup ft. Urban Decay Naked 3

Hi loves, since I’ve shown you an everyday-ish makeup look, I thought I would share one I created when I had a little more time on my hands. This is more evening out, date ready makeup look, and of course you can still wear even if you aren’t going on the date! The look I went for is a soft romantic look that I went for, smoked out to add a little bit of drama. Naked 3 is all about the pink tone shades so of course that also worked itself into the look. Let’s get onto the look itself.

Okay so I always start with brows, as you guys should know if you’ve read any of my makeup looks. I outline and fill in the tail of the brow with the Dipbrow and then shade it in with the lighter brown shade of the brow powder. Next I primed my lids using UD Primer Potion and applied a mixture of Nooner and Blackheart into the crease and outer V. I start on the cease first because typically it is darker shade to the rest of the eye so I don’t want it to dirty the lid shade. I then blended it out with Limit to soften it, I wasn’t aiming for a dramatic smokey look. Next I highlight the brow bone with Strange and then concentrated on the lid. On the lid I placed Buzz all over and blended it slightly into the crease. I also applied Strange and Dust to highlight the inner corner. I then finished shadow application by applying the crease shades under the bottom lash line. Now the rest – I lined my lashes with MAC Fluidline and then applied the Avon pencil in my waterline. I mascara’ed my lashes and applied false lashes to finish the look. Ta-da eyes done.

The first thing I do after using quite a bit of shadow is clean up. I use a cotton pad with the Micellar water to clean up just in case there is fall out and also tidy up around the corner of my eyes. I think apply concealer – for this I tend to always use the Kevyn Aucion Skin Enhancer. I start off by patting it in with a sponge and then buff it in use Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush (love this!). Next the fake cheekbones aka contouring. For this I used Anastasia Contour kit in shades Fawn and Sand. This product is amazing, so finely milled and ridiculously easy to blend in. I wanted highlighted pinky cheeks so turned to Bobbi’s Nectar Shimmer Brick for the blush. To truly add the glow and highlight I topped my cheek bones with Illamasqua Furore. That product is just heaven! Finally onto the finishing touch – lips! I kept this so simple, just one lipstick and lip brush. I applied MAC Captive straight on to the lips and that was me done.

I hope you liked this look, I feel like I always have makeup on my mind because right now I’m planning what look to wear to work tomorrow. Normally I don’t make much effort but tomorrow I am interviewing people to be a part of my team, so I have to impress! I’m probably going to go for something natural, maybe false lashes if I’m feeling fancy. Sorry I’ve been so quiet on here guys recently work has been so draining. I’ve gotten promoted so changing roles is turning out to be quite exhausting! It’ll be okay in the end. I even joined the gym last week – how many times have I gone? Oh yes, just that once. Okay enough of me complaining, I hope you liked this look guys and until next time have a great day :) Tanzina x
