Morning! With Mother’s day fast approaching, I thought I would do a post dedicated to a gift idea from one of my favourite companies, Elemis. It is a short and sweet post today, but hopefully it will give you some ideas on what to get the special lady in your life. For Mother’s Day, I sometimes end up getting a few pampering products for my Mum and.. kitchen appliances. I know, I know, that sounds really bad but I promise it is actually genuinely what she wants! Mum loves cooking, and any gadgets and crockery always keep her happy.
I think it has become the norm to buy flowers on Mother’s day, the bumped up price for bouquets around 30th March is testament to that! However, for a scent more beneficial and longer lasting I would highly recommend getting a bath product instead. You might already know about Elemis Jasmine & Rose Milk Bath, before it’s release I raved about it (here) and ever since I have loved using it in long, steaming baths especially throughout the colder season. I absolutely love the scent of this Bath Milk, a cross between two of my favourite floral scents and it is really moisturising product too as it is rich in Argan oil, Vitamin E and Camellia Seed Oil. Elemis have now made this product an addition to their permanent line and you can pick it up here for £42.00. I think this coupled with a candle would make the perfect Mother’s Day duo.
The next product is a little set, aimed at making the skin look more plump and protect the skin against signs of ageing. This is the Elemis Pro Collagen Treats set, and it contains a product I use pretty much every single day. The first product is the Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm, my favourite cleanser of all time. It is so good to the skin, so good at removing makeup and I also use it as a moisturising mask some days. I’ve talked about it so many times on here but if your looking for an in depth review then read it here. Also in the set is the Elemis Pro Collagen Advanced Eye Treatment, which helps smooth and firm skin around the eye and also targets fine lines and wrinkles. It is a liquid product so for those who dislike heavy greasy eye creams, this is the perfect answer. I haven’t actually trialled this product out yet, but I think I may make my Mum give me her opinions on it. It is also housed in a sturdy well made box (most free boxes aren’t!), which you can later use to store jewellery or knick knacks in. Knowing my Mum, she’ll use it for sewing bits and pieces. The balm by itself usually costs around £40 but you can pick up the whole set here for £49, saving almost £30. Bargain!
I did promise a short and sweet post today, not sure if I managed it as when I start talking about Elemis I tend to go on for ages and ages. I can’t decide what kitchen appliance to get this year, I might just get her a present when we go abroad as we MAY be jetting off a few days after Mother’s Day. I am absolutely dreading packing! Let me know if you have any gift ideas and also any blog posts you might like to see. Speak soon – Tanzina x
