I thought I would start a new series of makeup looks, a mini series where I show you an eye makeup look and quickly talk you through what I used to achieve the look. Today I thought I would kick of the makeup look series with a green and brown cut crease which I cooked up for my Instagram page. Green is quite a hard colour to pull off I find, you can either get it right or get it really witchy looking. This shade of green however is just beautiful and I think my favourite green shadow to date.
- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Lavish Palette: Sienna, Moss and Cream
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Covet Eye Liner: Noir and Absynthe
- Eldora False Lashes in H160
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Kit – Brow Powder in Dark Brown and Clear Brow Gel
- 2True Liquid Liner
- BareMinerals Lash Domination mascara
To create the look, first I completed my brows using the brow powder gel and then highlighted under the brow using Cream. Then I took the liner pencil in Noir and drew in the crease line and ended the line at the corner of my eye, almost like a flick. I went over that with Sienna and blended upwards. Next I applied Jumbo pencil in Milk as a base all over the lid under the crease line and packed on Moss on top. I also added a bit of Cream in the inner corner to highlight. Then using Absynthe liner I used it on the bottom lash line and went over that with Moss. After applying eyeliner and mascara, I popped on a set of h160 from Eldora and the look was done!
I used quite a lot of new products for this look, such as the Anastasia products and also the lashes. Creating new looks with products helps me get a feel of the product so I can bring you all well informed reviews. I’ll be bringing you a closer look at the products soon!
