Illamasqua Speckled Eyeliner Look

Hi lovelies! Today’s post is one I have been meaning to do forever but never really got round to creating. However I finally sat down, got my Precision Inks out and decided to start playing around with makeup. I created much heavier brows than usual, used foundation (which I hardly ever do) and really got stuck in. I played around with lighting for my photography (I created the look around 2AM) and played around with contrast, brightness, blur and such. I am so happy with how the look turned out, funnily enough the look turned out much more wearable than I thought it would be. I think going forward there definitely will be a few days with speckled eyes in my life!

This post is mostly just about showing you the look I created and pictures I came up with. This was my first time playing around properly with lighting in photography and I’m kind of happy with how this look turned out. I will attach a link to how Illamasqua created this look at the bottom.

The Illamasqua version, and my inspiration image:

Products I used:

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation (56 Dark Bronze) mixed with ..
Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer (Glow 3)

Illamasqua Cream Blusher (Libido)

MAC Fluidline (Dipdown)

Naked Cosmetics Matte Shadow Base
Bourjois Intense Shadow (Extrait 01) all over lid
Urban Decay Eyeshadow (Virgin) inner corner and under brow
MAC Eyeshadow (Carbon) to smoke out the black line and under lash line
Illamasqua Precision Ink (Abyss) to line and add speckles
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil (Zero)
Illamasqua Precision Ink (Glister) to add nude speckles
No7 False Lashes (60)

Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Colour (Pink Peony)

I thought I would end the post with a couple of full face images.

How Illamasqua created the speckled eyeliner look.

I definitely deviated a little away from the original image, for example I used a nude liner instead of white for the speckles and did more work on the bottom lash line. It was mainly just adapting it to my face and the products I had. I used a red cream blush in Libido instead of a more pink toned one simply because I wanted to get more use out of it. Overall I am really happy with this look and I hope you guys liked the images. Any feedback would be much appreciated and please do let me know if you would like to see more of these posts. Thank you! Tanzina x
